This SLICK #BMWi8 came in for a complete interior detail and an exterior enhancement polish. After preforming a through interior cleaning, we rejuvenated the plastics with Dr. Beasley's plastic conditioner and leather cream. After letting it all soak in, we topped off the plastics with our in-house designed hard surface protection solution. This creates ultra low surface tension helping to keep dust and dirt where it belongs...in the floor, helping to prevent abrasive wear. It's also full of UV resistant resins. After an intense exterior decontamination detail, I picked up the machines and went to work on enhancing the overall look of the paint. This vehicle was slated for a straightforward 2 step #paintcorrection but due to the body lines and our high standards, it took a bit more time than usual.😆 For some reason ole Everett McGill's saying, "Damn! Today was a very humbling day! It's been a long time since I've run into paint that's this difficult. It may well be the hardest paint I've dealt with. M100 and Twisted wool rotary was barely doing anything. Also, it's badly oxidized single stage, so it's clogging my pads crazy fast. All in all, I firmly believe this one came to the right place for its enhancement work. I'm super thankful to be challenged while putting in serious thought and effort to get her looking better. The floor pic shows some of the calcium/mineral deposits that came off the car during the wet work. 😳 Of Note: If this happens to your vehicle, contact your preferred #detailer immediately!!! Do not let it sit in the sun. Do not wait for days on an appointment. Do not try and remove this yourself. Thank goodness this individual did all (mostly 😉) the right things, and we were able to make a save. Issues of this nature can lead to an event that will require a paint job if not treated very quickly and appropriately.

All but done on this finally friday. It's been a long week, but a great learning experience.

"Too Soon Jr!" - Johnny Tran This S2K received A Full Detail with a little extra TLC. Let's tell a bit of a story about this Japanese machine. It all started by accident(pun) and quickly snowballed into a magnificent project. Bare with the story as it's a long one, and we're definitely going to miss a few things. 😬 We started her off with an in-depth decontamination detail. Once cleaned up, we moved to the interior to perform a fairly standard interior detail. After cleaning, we treated all the rubber molding with Gummi Pflege to restore them a bit. The interior plastics and dash were treated x2 with plastic conditioner by @drbeasleys and @kochchemie_usa Top Star. Hard interior surfaces received a water-based ceramic formula. The exterior and engine bay was a whole other ballgame‼️ All exterior #carbonfiber was sanded to remove and reduce orange peel prior to polishing. The paint was a bit thin so we took a great deal of caution in removing the oxidation and random defects before polishing her up to a nice shine. The exterior was prepped and coated in @nanoproceramic Borophene. Undercarriage received a lite cleaning during the wheels off detail. The rear arches were showing some age, so we laid in a coat of Upol black rust-preventing paint. The rear rotors and brakes were also a bit aged, so we chose to paint them black, allowing the Volk te37's be the focal point. The brakes and rotors were then coated in a high temp ceramic for ease of cleaning. The #volkte37 wheels were polished and #ceramic coated again using a high-solids high-temp formula. The glass received a glass-specific #ceramiccoating again by NanoPro. The exterior windshield hoop was in rough shape, so we removed it, had @roninwrapz come in clutch and replace it, before coating the vinyl. The engine bay was thoroughly detailed using a high-pressure high-volume steam method. All underhood carbon, paint, and powder-coated pieces were coated with #Borophene. All aluminum was lightly polished and protected with Dr.Beasley's metal coat. More was done...enough has been said! 😂

1970 #Nova big block thumper 🔥 Level 4 paint enhancement.... Tons of wet sanding with orange peel reduction and dieback removal in mind. Followed with a 4 step correction, 1st to remove sanding marks and leftover scratchs, 2nd to mildly refine and view the surface better going after a few left lover random defects, 3rd to refine, and 4th to bring out as much gloss as possible. Protected the work and paint with a 3 year #ceramiccoating. This coating was chosen for its crazy slick tactile feel. Back and Better! This #Audi Q7 was previously #Ceramic coated with our 6-year titanium nano-coating. Unfortunately, It had a visit to the body shop shortly after completion. We've repolished her completely removing the old coating and gave her a nice upgrade to Borophene from Nano Pro. The story - After finding out the vehicle was damaged by speaking with the owner, we informed them that our coatings are reportable and possibly covered under insurance claims. Sure enough, it was, and they were appropriately compensated. 2023 Tesla Model S... There's just something about black 😍 This new Tesla came in for our 6 year titanium ceramic package. Though it was new, like most #Tesla vehicles, it required quite a bit of paint enhancement. It was scheduled for a quick enhancement polish, but inspection revealed that just wasn't going to cut it. We stepped back, rolled up the sleeves, and put 10hrs on the polisher with a 3 step. All said and done I'm very pleased with this one. s2k is all but done 🔥🔥🔥 A lengthy process and very much worth the hours. Full engine bay detail with high temp ceramic coatings to all painted and carbon surfaces. Metals polished and sealed with metal coat. Carbon hood and trunk were wet sanded to reduce orange peel. Exterior wash corrected and polished appropriately and safely given paint/carbon condition and depth. @nanoproceramic Borophene coating was applied to the exterior surfaces. Glass was coated with Nanopro ceramic glass. Complete wheels off detail with refinishing to arches. Wheels and calipers were polished a ceramic coated. Interior was detailed, and all surfaces were refreshed and treated with appropriate conditioners/protectors. Etc, etc, etc 😎

2023 #Tesla Model Y polished up and protected right with Borophene by @nanoproceramic This was easily the toughest new vehicle coating we've completed to date. I simply could not find a proper pad and fluid combination that worked well across all areas. 1 pad or fluid up, left micro marring on the flat surfaces but finished out great in the valleys. 1 pad/fluid down and the valleys had slight haze with flats looking great...had to 2inch 25% of this thing 🕘⌛️😖

F150 after a Level 2 paint enhancement. Very tough job for sure. Had some repaint that was extremely hard, tailgate and left bed. The passenger doors were super odd...kept sucking in my fluids and freezing them to the surface?? Little spritz of water helped but had to be removed with a surface cleaner. The hood was crazy thin +/-60um. Driver side was normal 🤷‍♂️. After completion, we sealed her up with a #Borophene nano-coating from @nanoproceramic

Shenanigans from the manufacturer. RANT: I saw a blog article where a detailer was promoting the fact he offers a "valuable" service to his potential clients. He'll personally go to the dealerships with them and inspect the new vehicles giving them a GO/NO GO stamp of approval. He sees defects, he says no, they don't buy. In theory this sounds like a great service. In reality, it's just another smoke screen, marketing BS!. Maybe 2% of the new vehicles we do are in even fair shape and at a minimum need a good polishing. If they were being honest no one would ever buy. The last one for 2022 is complete! 2017 #Jeep Grand Cherokee Started this girl off with an Alpha exterior detail prep for paint correction and coating. We then moved to the next phase and performed a level 3 paint correction totaling just over 20 hours behind the polisher alone. Tons of wet sanding to reduce isolated defects followed by 4 steps of buffing. After completing the correction, we sealed her up with our 6yr ceramic coating and sent a goodie package along with her. Note: Big things are changing here, and we are looking forward to 2023! 2022 #Lexus GX 460 #Rocknroll 🤘 This sleek Lexus was pampered right and received the good stuff! We started this one with an exterior alpha detail before moving into our paint correction process. We used a quick 2-step technique with a wool polish pad and refined it with a foam pad using nano-surface primers. After completion, we protected her with @kochchemie_usa Ceramic Allround. 2023 4Runner TRDpro. Toyota really did well on this color! Solar Octane 😍😍😍 This brand new #4runner received our new vehicle ceramic coating protection package. We completed a 3step decontamination wash prior to performing a paint enhancement. During the wash/decon phase, we found a massive amount of bonded contamination on the surface. It has been a garaged-kept vehicle since its purchase, has barely surpassed 100miles, and was on the dealership lot for less than 24hrs. Another fine example of a brand-new vehicle that needed to see a detailer...#shamelessplug. This was also another modification to the normal enhancement process. We reduced the existing orange peel and dye back ever so slightly providing for a much cleaner and crisp reflection. We then moved into the polishing phase using Koch-Chemie USA products for 2 steps of gloss enhancement. Once all the correction work was completed we sealed her up with Ceramic Allround(CO.02) to protect our work and most importantly the paint from good ole Mother Nature. Also going forward this vehicle will be added to our regularly scheduled maintenance program to keep her looking super fresh and brand new for years to come. We cleaned and prepped the surface with this one reciving a slight modification on the usual lite polish work. It was then coated with our 6yr ceramic. 2022 Mazda 3 Premium Plus Another nice ride in for our new vehicle 6yr ceramic coating protection package. We also installed a superhydrophobic 3-4yr high temp wheel ceramic coating to protect and aid in the cleaning of these gloss black wheels. Of significant note! These newer vehicles are being manufactured with minimal amounts of material. The paint on this vehicle (like most Mazdas) is crazy thin. Our measurements showed an avg thickness of total paint at +/-50 microns!😮 For reference a white blood cell averages 25 microns. I can not stress enough the importance of having a protective coating installed ASAP! Ceramic coating your vehicle creates a hard, chemically-bonded protective layer over the paint. This hydrophobic layer makes the surface incredibly easy to wash and maintain as well as providing chemical and swirl resistance. Once bugs guts, water etching, and minor scratches have been induced there is little we can do to correct these issues. A thorough wash with 3-steps of decontamination was performed prior to paint enhancement using a nano surface primer gel. The owner chose the harder candy look 6yr glass ceramic which I feel was the right choice for this paint. 😍 We also threw in a bonus engine detail that was treated with @kochchemie_usa Motorplast. This formula surrounds all engine parts to provide a protective barrier, even on the electronics'.
